Tax-free childcare scheme

We are committed to serve all the families in our community, irrespective of their means. Under the current terms of the Government scheme all three and four year-olds are eligible for funding.

Funding is only available during the school terms and commences the term after your child’s third birthday. For every £8 you pay into an online account, the government will add an extra £2, up to £2,000 per child per year.

This scheme is available for working families, including the self-employed, in the UK. You must earn under £100k and at least £152 per week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage) each.

You must not be receiving Tax Credits, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers. And your child must be aged 0-11 (or 0-16 if disabled).

Childcare voucher scheme

We accept childcare vouchers, although these are now closed to new applicants. However, if you joined a childcare voucher scheme on or before 4 October 2018, you can keep getting vouchers as long as:

  • your wages were adjusted on or before 4 October 2018.
